Tumours of brain and spine primarily need surgery to remove the tumour as much as possible, with the aim of complete removal without compromising surgical outcome or patient’s health. In few select cases, surgery is not feasible due to high risk or only diagnosis is required, when biopsy can be the only option rather than complete or near complete tumour excision.
