Blockage of blood supply to any part of brain or bleeding due to rupture of small blood vessels in any part of brain can lead to partial or complete loss of power on one side of body or other complaints relating to affected part of brain. In some of these cases, surgery may be needed to decrease pressure over remaining normal brain and reduce risk to life.
